Regulatory Compliance The Demolizer® II system is designed to meet or exceed the standards or guidelines for biomedical waste treatment by the EPA, CDC and state regulatory agencies. Laws and regulations for medical waste treatment and disposal are managed at the state or local level. The Demolizer® technology has been reviewed by over 78 governmental agencies and is either formally approved or meets regulatory requirements for treatment in 47 U.S. states. FREE tools for BMTS customers to help your facility stay compliant We understand there is more to compliance than just properly processing and documenting your biomedical waste. That's why we've developed tools and templates to help you with the additional regulatory requirements needed to keep your staff and patients safe. Through our compliance department, we offer a Model Hazard Communication Program template and a Model Exposure Control Plan template. Both templates are based on OSHA guidelines and approved plans that are already in use. These model plans are available free of charge to current BMTS customers.
